Alton Mutual Aid
We are a volunteer run organization supporting people in Alton and the local villages. During the Covid-19 crisis lock down we provide free support with shopping, collecting/delivering prescriptions, delivering post, also a friendly voice to talk to, for people living in isolation. We also issue money and food vouchers to people in the community that need help. residents can phone or email for help. We also get referrals from Hampshire County Council and East Hampshire District Council, The Red Cross, Alton Community Cupboard, Elkolet and The Kings Arms. Donations which have helped keep us running and fund vouchers have come from Radian Housing, E.H.D.C., Vivid housing, H.I.W.C.F. and The Alton Lions
